Community & Trust
The Rules of Engagement
Sharing is caring, but clear boundaries make for better relationships. Coffideas runs on the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Use it, share it, but keep it non-commercial.

You can
Use Coffideas for free
We believe conversation is a human superpower. That is why Coffideas Creative Commons is open to everyone ready to facilitate meaningful talks.
- Host events: Use Coffideas for free at any non-commercial gathering.
- Support your community: Bring our tools to your school, NGO, or meetup (as long as participants don't pay).
- Pass it on: Share Coffideas with your network and encourage others to join the movement.
- Speak up: Share your stories, insights, and success cases with the world!
The Gentlemen's Agreement
Follow the Rules to Keep it Free
Want to use Coffideas? Great! Here is your checklist to stay compliant and fair.
- Give Credit: Clearly state that this is Coffideas and link to us.
- Stay Non-Commercial: Remember, no fees, no selling, no business hidden agendas.
- Close the Loop: Mandatory: complete the post-session feedback form. It's just 4 questions that tell us what we can improve.
Simple, right? Now go and connect people!
Fair Play
Where we draw the line: Commercial Use
We share our know-how because we care, but we also run a business. To keep the ecosystem fair, the CC BY-NC license has strict boundaries. You cannot use the free license if:
- Money changes hands: Participants pay for tickets or entry fees.
- It's a corporate gig: An organization pays you to run the workshop (even if participants attend for free).
- It's part of a package: Coffideas is bundled into a paid training, product, or service you sell.
- You sell the tool: Reselling Coffideas as your own product is a definite no-go.
- You fake it: Using the materials to suggest you are a certified Coffideas Ambassador when you are not.
The Fair Exchange
The Fine Print
Keeping it Fair & Valuable: To keep the Coffideas ecosystem thriving, there are just two more things you need to know:
- Size Matters: The CC license covers events up to 55 participants. Why? Because intimate groups foster better conversations. Need to scale up? That requires our enterprise tools.
- Collective Wisdom: We believe in connecting the dots. Under the CC license, we may use anonymized topics from your sessions (no names, no roles, just ideas) to build our Global Trend Reports.
- Top Secret? If your topics are strictly confidential and you want total data privacy (no trend spotting), the Commercial License is your best friend.
Where to use it?

Meetups
Transform "who are these people?" into "let's stay in touch."

Conferences
An energy shot that turns inspiration into conversation.

NGOs
Connect people with purpose, not just presence.

Students
The stress-free way to meet new people and integrate.

Free Workshops
Build a supportive tribe from day one.

Friends & Masterminds
Skip the small talk. Have conversations that matter.
Coffideas CC is definitely for you if…
- You host free events and want to deliver real value, not just a venue.
- You are building a tribe, whether it's a local group or an industry niche.
- You want connection, not just caffeine. No more awkward standing around with a mug!
- You support a mission: You run meetings for students, NGOs, or social initiatives.
- You hate "networking" but love meaningful conversations. Zero pressure, 100% flow.
- You need a universal language. You value a structure that works for everyone, from Gen Z to Silver Power.
Why does Coffideas CC work so well?
Structure provides real safety
People don't have to "figure out how to talk".
They get clear framework and know what will happen.
Small groups make a big difference
Conversation in fours is the perfect balance:
diverse enough, but still intimate and comfortable.
It works for introverts and extroverts
Introverts get support in making contact.
Extroverts get a conversation that matters, not just small talk.
How does Coffideas Creative Commons work?
Coffideas Creative Commons is designed to be easy to run — even if you're hosting for the first time. The experience has two sides: host setup and participant flow.
1How to Coffideas yourself?

⚠️ We're currently in beta. First, join the waiting list and we'll contact you when we're ready to invite you.
Create your Space
Your Space is where your event lives — it's the control center for everything: categories, participants, topics, and session flow.
Log in anytime from any device
You can access your Space from a laptop, tablet, or phone — whichever is most convenient for hosting.
Follow the built-in interactive manual
Inside the app you'll find a full step-by-step guide that walks you through: how to prepare the Space, how to configure categories and settings, how to run the keynote + QR onboarding, how to approve topics and start the draw, how to control the full event flow.
The manual is designed to guide you "by the hand" — so you always know what to do next.
2Participant flow (during the event)
It's simple — and that's exactly why it works.
This is an open door.
Let's be clear about this decision: we are not "giving Coffideas away" because we are trading value for scale.
We are sharing our method because we believe that good ideas should travel.
This is more than a giveaway; it is a movement. A move designed to build a common language, strengthen our community, and scale our impact—without diluting the quality.
So, if anyone asks, "Why are you doing this?" the answer is simple: Because the world needs conversation.
And Coffideas is the method that ignites it.
Good ideas should travel.
Coffideas — Perpetual Brew. Always brewing new ideas.
📕 Coffideas Playbook: Humans Engineered
5 years of experience and lessons learned — distilled into one guide.
If you plan to use the Creative Commons license, consider this document a mandatory map — the app gives you the tool, but the Playbook teaches you how engineer human connections along the way. With your participants. With yourself as a Host.
This is not just a standard user manual, but a manifesto of the "Human Steady" philosophy in a world dominated by AI. It serves as a compass for the Host who wants to design meetings based on the engineering of trust, not just random chance.
What you will find inside:
- The "Human Steady" Philosophy: Why our ability to truly "be together" remains our greatest advantage in the digital BANI era.
- The Mechanics of "Creative Collisions": How to guide a group step-by-step from silence and a black-and-white screen to an explosion of color and energy.
- The Engineering of Trust: Proven methods to engage both withdrawn introverts and dominant extroverts in the conversation.
- The Magic of 15 Minutes: Why a short timeframe (Parkinson's Law) triggers substance, kills "fluff," and builds a hunger for more.
- The Art of Hosting: Concrete scripts and "anti-advice" — e.g., why we never use the word "networking" and how to avoid the "forced fun" effect.
- Values in Action: How principles like "Yes, and..." and "Sharing is caring" shift group dynamics from competition to collaboration.
- Technology in the Background: Why the app must be a "silent partner" and why we strictly adhere to an "Offline First" philosophy.
- The Kakezan Model: How to multiply social impact through the Creative Commons license and build relationships that actually make sense.
Because the method is simple — but the experience becomes powerful when it's hosted well.
